BichThu CaoMinh graduated in 2006 from the International Trade Department at FIT.  During her studies she became increasingly interested in the impacts of international trade and manufacturing on workers and their communities, and decided to pursue a career in Corporate Social Responsibility.

She first went to work as Production Specialist at Liz Claiborne to learn more about the business needs and decision making processes of the Sourcing department.

In 2008 she started working as a Social Compliance Auditor for CSCC (STR-Responsible Sourcing) and inspected over 200 factories in the US, Canada and Asia to ensure compliance with Human Rights and Code of Conduct Standards.

In 2009, she relocated to Berlin to work as a Social Compliance Program Manager, and oversaw the Ethical Trading program of the supermarket chain Lidl.

Since the beginning of 2011, she has been working as a Corporate Responsibility Officer at Burberry in London. In her new role, she visits factories in Europe and works with suppliers and vendors on continuous improvement strategies. She also works closely with Sourcing and Intellectual Property departments within Burberry, educating them on ethical trading buying practices.
