Online Exhibition for Exposed: A History of Lingerie

The online exhibition for Exposed: A History of Lingerie is now live! See how lingerie conceals, reveals, and highlights the wearer's form. Visit the site to view images of lingerie from the mid-18th century to the present, connect with social media, link to exhibition reviews, and more.

MFIT is on ArtStor

MFIT recently released 250 images to the ArtStor Digital Library, a powerful tool for educators, scholars, curators, librarians, and students. Read more and view the MFIT collection on ArtStor.

MFIT Past Exhibitions on Google Open Gallery

MFIT is now on Google Open Gallery! With features like powerful zoom, you can view our past exhibitions online like never before. Up first is our 2008 exhibition Gothic: Dark Glamour, which explored themes such as Night, Strange Beauty, and the Ruined Castle. Check out the incredible detail in the glass slides and feathers on the Alexander McQueen "Voss" dress, or the layers of silk, leather, and rubber (all in various shades of black) on this Giles Deacon dress.
